Virgin Mary was only person in all humankind who had such holiness and purity, such living faith, so she was able to hear God’s Evangelion that she has been chosen to become Mother of Savior of the World, who will bring people freedom from slavery of sin and death. How to find such faith, to able to receive Word of God in integrity and joy, such that Holy Spirit will began construction of dwelling palace in human’s heart? O, most Holy Theotokos, entreat Lord for us to reach joy of Annunciation, Repentance, Transfiguration and Resurrection!

There are some moments in our life, when we feel ineffable joy and happiness, for which we are ready to give thanks for ever.. When “time has come” Lord sent Archangel Gabriel with good news to Nazareth to Virgin Mary. She was the only person in all humankind who had such holiness and purity, such living faith, so she was able to hear God’s Evangelion that she has been chosen to become Mother of Savior of the World, who will bring people freedom from slavery of sin and death. Angel said to Mary: “Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest”…

For humankind it was beginning of new, bright age. In Annunciation incarnation of God has been accomplished – Mystery which is above of human understanding.

Orthodox church celebrates Annunciation on 7^th of April.
