Workshop of Holy-Trinity Alexander Nevsky Monastery is first studio of tin miniatures in Russia, which devotes its products to God and His people, people of Faith. Our casted miniatures present history of salvation and holiness. “Adama” means earth, soil in biblical Hebrew, from this earth first man Adam was created. And our sculptures continue process of Creation, it is our contribution, praise and thankfulness.
Our Christian collection, which we developing since 1998 represents unique part of reach world of tin miniatures since it reflects history of Bible and history of Church. There are over 100 figures in our Christian collection.
We try to follow the principle we have heard from holy person, renowned academician Sergey Averintsev: “If art doesn’t turn person to God, then it is meaningless”. When we became believers, we turned to Christian art. Some of our brothers and sisters paint icons, some sing, some build churches and we cast our miniatures in a mould.
Product: Genuine tin miniatures of limited editions, finely hand found from tin alloy. Figures are either colored in acrylic or tempera paints or monochrome toned. There’s also printed historical description or short story about person or event.
You can buy or order miniatures. We also work with custom orders (sculpture modeling, exclusive casting and painting).
